Private nature immersions

For the ones who hold everyone else

Remember your connection to the wisdom of the natural world. Allow me to be your animistic guide and deepen your conversations with the Earth.

You might recognise yourself here

  • You hold space for clients, patients, children, a whole household. You can't remember the last time someone held you unconditionally.
  • You understand your nervous system better than most, yet still find it hard to regulate.
  • You fall asleep exhausted, yet wake up feeling you need more rest.
  • Your gut responds to stress and can be overly sensitive.
  • Rest feels like something you have to earn first.
  • You're surrounded by people and still feel quietly alone.

I work most often with healers, practitioners, doctors, mothers and mothers-to-be: people whose work is care. If you resonated with these statements, then you're in the right place.

Conversations with the Earth

The biggest healing modality on the planet is the planet.

When we need to recover, most of us go indoors, to a spa, a studio or a treatment room. I take you outside, to immerse in the experience those spaces are trying to imitate, and help you plug back in.

I think of myself as an animistic guide. I read the natural world the way other people read a page, and I create a bridge of connection between you and that world, until you can hear it, feel it and reconnect to it for yourself.

The world can feel hostile and relentless, but the Earth offers us benevolence: a deep presence. However alone you may feel, you are reminded that you are always accompanied.

Woven through every element

Earth medicine

Many of my sessions open with ceremonial cacao: warm, bitter, quietly heart-opening. It gently sharpens the senses and allows for a deeper state of presence. I bring in heart-coherence practices from the HeartMath tradition alongside it.

For those drawn to more focused plant-medicine work, I offer careful preparation beforehand and integration afterwards, so the experience lands somewhere safe and keeps working in your life.

In every immersion I bring the Sacred Plate into focus, our connection with plants and food as medicine, and introduce ways to reignite your relationship with the soil and all that comes from it, to nourish you on a soul level.

Ways to work with me

Both one-to-one sessions and group experiences are bespoke, curated in such a way that they land appropriately.

Your guide

I'm Kate.

I spent my formative years in London's Macrobiotic community, founded in the early 1970s. Life followed the seasons: organic food, traditional medicine and Shinto practices that held even the inanimate as an integral part of the whole.

After a BSc in Ecological Sciences, I took my idealistic dreams to the mountains of southern Spain and set up an off-grid organic farm. Living and working on the land, I was deeply steeped in circadian rhythms and the cyclical nature of the seasons. It was in Spain that I developed my cheffing skills, creating kitchen gardens and cooking for yoga and detox retreats.

In 2007 I began training as a Nutritional Therapist, qualifying in 2010, and took my work into private homes and specialist health retreats. Work then led me to the Middle East, where for five years I worked across a number of countries as a private chef-nutritionist, consultant and staff trainer.

In 2013 I deepened my yoga practice, taking the first of a series of teacher trainings at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. Over the next three years I studied in India, Guatemala and Costa Rica: Ayurvedic detox, yoga therapies, Chit Sakti and sun meditation, fasting and pranayama. I also trained with the HeartMath Institute as a facilitator. In 2024 I qualified as a WATSU provider after two years of aquatic bodywork training.

Since 2018 I have been based in Costa Rica, between the tropical dry forest and the sea. This is where the elemental work truly took form as a practice, and everything I have learned along the way informs how I facilitate today.
